Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Saraswathy Shamini Gunasekaran is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science, Taylor’s University, with over 20 years of experience in artificial intelligence, digital governance, energy informatics, and sustainable computing. Her research focuses on AI governance, intelligent digitalization, sustainability analytics, and decision-support systems. She has played key roles in national initiatives, including chairing the Eco-Labelling Policy for Data Centres under SIRIM Malaysia and contributing to Malaysia’s National Address System. An active researcher, educator, and science communicator, she is committed to advancing responsible technology adoption, sustainable digital transformation, and the development of future AI researchers.
