Biography

Dr. Jari Collin is a distinguished technology executive, researcher, and adjunct professor from Finland with more than three decades of experience in the telecommunications, information technology, and digital transformation sectors. He currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Telia Finland, a position he has held since 2016. Prior to this, he served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Efora Oyj and Elisa Oyj, and held various leadership positions at Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks. Dr. Collin is an Adjunct Professor of IoT Systems and Mobile Networks at the National Defence University and an Adjunct Professor of Enterprise Information Systems and Service Networks at Aalto University. He earned his Doctor of Science (Technology) degree in Industrial Management from the Helsinki University of Technology and his Master of Science (Technology) degree from the Tampere University of Technology. In addition to his academic and executive roles, Dr. Collin serves on the boards of several technology and digital infrastructure organizations, contributing to the advancement of cybersecurity, telecommunications, and digital innovation. His expertise bridges industry leadership and academic research, particularly in emerging digital technologies and next-generation communication networks
