Prajakta V. Koratkar

Prajakta V. Koratkar is a Guest Faculty member at the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune, India, where she instructs courses on Cyber Security in Defence Systems and AI & ML for Robotics. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Robotics at DIAT. She holds an M.Tech in Industrial Automation & Robotics from MIT, Manipal University, with a CGPA of 8.6, and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Pune University. Her professional experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at DIAT, Pune, and at Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE. She has successfully secured and managed significant research funding, including a DRDO-sponsored CARs project on tactile sensor development (Rs. 95,75,000) and an industry project with Saarloha Advanced Materials on AI-enabled defect analysis. She has extensive experience guiding M.Tech and B.Tech projects and has delivered numerous expert lectures and training sessions for defense personnel, DRDO scientists, and industry professionals at organizations like Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). Her research contributions are documented in several publications and conference presentations covering robotics, automation, and AI applications
