Abstract Title

As a professional, I believe in intellectually stimulating work processes, excelling and succeeding through smart work, and thus adding value to my job, the organization, and myself. Reference:                         Recent Advances in Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles Technologies Modern power systems are facing everlasting power demand and to meet this increasing demand, different power generation sources are required. However, the power generation from fossil fuels leads to hazardous gases. Renewable power generation plays a major role in the modern power system and its penetration has been increasing in recent years. Therefore, there is a requirement for the environmentally friendlier Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). This keynote presents the modeling of various DERs, such as wind energy systems, solar PV systems, battery energy storage systems, pumped-storage hydropower (PSH), biomass and electric vehicles (EVs). It also presents the operational cost modeling of wind energy generators (WEGs), solar PV, battery storage units, and EVs. Modeling of network load and electric vehicle fleet load are also presented. The uncertainty related to WEGs, solar PV, electric vehicles charging and load demands are modeled by using various probabilistic methods such as Weibull distribution, Normal distribution, and Beta distribution.
