I have taught for 18 years IN MBA programs in credit, capital markets, financial technology and banking at: Tufts, HK UST, HKU, LMU Hilton School in LA, SUSS in Singapore, LBS, as well as Fudan and Zhejiang Universities in China. I have also worked for the Number 1 investment bank from Switzerland, US, UK, Japan, PRC & Holland starting in 1991. I have been a source for the WSJ, NYT, Bloomberg, Nikkei, FT, Economist, Barron’s & Forbes. I’m 21 years sober. The above may sound impressive, but it was a bear. I’ve gone through burnout (twice), decade long imposter syndrome, dealing with runaway alcoholism in my family of origin, adolescent abuse, and coming out as gay. I got the t shirts — lots of them! I Quit drinking and smoking 20 years ago. In my past life, I wrote many books on Web 3.0, fintech, and quantum computing in finance and banking. One of these is “The Digital Transformation of Property in Greater China”. Another is “The Race for 5 G Supremacy: Why China is Surging, Where Millennials Struggle and How the US Can Prevail”. My first book was “AI and Quantum Computing in Finance & Insurance” which I began writing in 2013. Another book was “The Next Revolution in our Credit-Driven Economy: The Advent of Financial Technology” (2014). I also co-authored "Handbook of Blockchain, Digital Finance, And Inclusion” (AI, the IOT & Insurtech in China).
