Dr. A. Sundaramanickam is an Associate Professor at the Centre of Advanced Study in Marine Biology, Annamalai University, India, with over 23 years of research and 18 years of teaching experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Marine Biology and Oceanography and has published more than 80 research papers and 8 book chapters. His research focuses on marine pollution, microplastics, estuarine ecology, and environmental sustainability. He has guided several Ph.D. scholars, participated in numerous international conferences, and contributed to various nationally and internationally funded research projects related to marine ecosystem conservation
