Prof. Dr. Valliappan Raju is a distinguished academic and research leader specializing in Financial Technology (FinTech), Research Methodology, Data Analysis, and Marketing. With over 21 years of international academic and administrative experience across India, Botswana, Malaysia, and Germany, he currently serves as Professor of FinTech at GISMA University of Applied Sciences, Germany. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, a Ph.D., and a Postdoctoral Fellowship, and has authored more than 343 publications, including 79 indexed in Scopus/SCI/SSCI journals. Recognized among the Top 2% Scientists globally by Elsevier and Stanford University (2025), his research spans fintech applications, digital finance, artificial intelligence in finance, management, and IR 5.0. Prof. Raju has supervised over 64 Ph.D. graduates and currently mentors doctoral scholars in management, finance, and digital transformation. In addition to serving as Editor-in-Chief and reviewer for several high-impact journals, he actively contributes to global conferences and institutional research strategy, rankings, and innovation management.
