Abstract

Innovative Approaches for Upcycling Vegetable and Plastic Waste into Functional Products
Abstract:
There is a sharp rise in solid waste generation which has become a major environmental problem all over the world. Waste mismanagement and waste accumulation are also causes of pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and ecosystem collapse. In this paper, we aim to develop solid waste converting high-valued products as sustainable waste management and environmental protection. Several types of wastes such as organic waste, plastics, and industrial by-products can be transformed into useful products through processes, such as composting, recycling, and waste-to-energy conversion. The products obtained such as fertilizers, biofuels, paint, herbal insecticides, removable ink and useful regular products present both economic and environmental advantages that minimize waste's environmental impact. Utilizing cutting-edge waste-to-resource solutions, this framework advances circular economy and expands the momentum in addressing sustainability and climate resiliency across the world.
