Prerna Mehta is an accomplished academician, researcher, and biotechnology professional with over 8 years of teaching and research experience. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at GD Rungta College of Science and Technology, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. She holds prestigious leadership roles including Ambassador of Microbiologists Society India (MBSI), Associate Director of the Creative Division, and Executive Advisor to the Board of Directors at MBSI. Her expertise spans biotechnology, molecular biology, AI in healthcare, environmental sustainability, nanotechnology, and intellectual property rights. She has authored numerous research papers, book chapters, and books published by reputed publishers including Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, CRC Press, and IGI Global. She is also an active reviewer and editorial board member for several international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
