Driss Louiz is a senior lecturer and accredited coordinator of the Language and Communication stream at Ibn Tofail University. He specializes in sociolinguistics, French language didactics, and the integration of digital technologies in education. Holding a doctorate in Language Sciences from Ibn Tofail University and Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III, he has dedicated his academic career to promoting innovative and intercultural approaches in language teaching. He has authored numerous publications on digital pedagogy, e-learning, hybrid education, and artificial intelligence in language instruction, while also coordinating academic conferences and international webinars across Morocco, Russia, Lithuania, Venezuela, and France. Since 2017, he has served as the digital referent for the IFprofs-Morocco platform and has contributed extensively to teacher training, DELF/DALF evaluation, and educational development programs. His work is widely recognized for advancing digital transformation and creativity in French language education.    

Integrating artificial intelligence into language classes This contribution aims to highlight the importance of digital use in the process of teaching/learning foreign languages. It has been observed that information and communication technologies have now invaded all areas of life, including education. Teachers and learners use different digital tools to search for information, create content, self-train, develop various language skills, etc. The major issue related to the use of digital technology is how to integrate this tool into the practice of teaching/learning. Through a field survey conducted among teachers and students, we noticed that some users do not really benefit from this tool, while others consider it a real opportunity to improve and develop different skills, particularly in the field of education. Its integration could also help comfort the teacher’s posture. The main objective of this contribution, considered as a feedback, is to provide teachers with some tools related to the use of digital technology for sharing and inspiration.
