Abstract Title

Blockchain for Trustworthy AI and Data-Driven Digital Ecosystems                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       The rapid growth of artificial intelligence, data-driven applications, Internet of Things (IoT),and interconnected digital services is transforming modern computing and communicationsystems. However, the increasing dependence on large-scale and distributed data alsointroduces critical challenges related to data integrity, privacy, authentication, provenance, unauthorized access, and trust. These challenges become particularly important in AI-drivenenvironments, where the reliability and integrity of underlying data directly influence thequality and trustworthiness of intelligent decision-making.This presentation explores the potential of blockchain technology as a trust and security layerfor AI- and data-driven digital ecosystems. It introduces the fundamental concepts ofblockchain, decentralization, cryptographic integrity, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and blockchain-based authentication, followed by practical examples of how thesetechnologies can be integrated with modern digital systems. The talk will present research-driven case studies involving blockchain-based secure emailcommunication, privacy-preserving mechanisms, IoT authentication, and secure datamanagement. Particular attention will be given to the use of smart contracts, public-keycryptography, and blockchain-based identity and key-management mechanisms to improvedata integrity, access control, accountability, and trust. The presentation will also discusspractical blockchain architectures and development environments, demonstrating howblockchain applications can interact with conventional front-end and backend systems. Finally, the presentation will examine emerging opportunities and challenges at the intersectionof blockchain, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and IoT, including scalability, privacy, computational cost, interoperability, and trustworthy data management. The objectiveis to provide a practical and research-oriented perspective on how blockchain can complementAI and data-driven technologies to build secure, transparent, accountable, and trustworthydigital ecosystems.
