Begüm Burak

Dr. Begüm Burak is a political scientist, international relations scholar, freelance researcher, and academic writer specializing in Turkish politics, democracy studies, media-politics relations, cyber-politics, and artificial intelligence in education and politics. She completed her Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from Fatih University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2015. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Istanbul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Marmara University. She currently serves as an advisory board member at Learning Life (USA), scientific board member of the Social Sciences Advancement Dialogue Network, and editorial board member for several international journals including the Journal of Applied Learning and Teaching and UPA Strategic Affairs Journal. She has worked as a freelance researcher for multiple international projects, including serving as a country expert for the V-Dem Institute in Sweden. Dr. Burak has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has presented research at numerous international conferences on topics related to democracy, media discourse, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, political communication, and human rights
