Dr. Sivaram Ponnusamy is a Professor and Research Supervisor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Artificial Intelligence at Sandip University, Nashik, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, along with M.E. (Computer Science and Engineering), B.E. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), MBA (Project Management), and B.A. (Hindi) degrees. With over 20 years of academic and research experience, Dr. Sivaram has served in several reputed engineering institutions and universities across India, including SASTRA Deemed University, PRIST University, Chitkara University, Jain University, and Sandip University. His teaching and research expertise span Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Networks, Mobile Application Development, Embedded Systems, and Software Engineering. Dr. Sivaram has made significant contributions to research and innovation, with 55+ Scopus-indexed publications, 18 international journal articles, 46 international book chapters, 13 international conference papers, 9 edited international books, and 19 patents (including granted and published patents). He is currently guiding eight Ph.D. scholars in emerging areas such as AI, Blockchain, Healthcare Systems, Women's Safety Technologies, Autonomous Vehicles, and Smart Governance. He serves as an Editorial Board Member and Academic Editor for international journals and actively contributes as a reviewer for reputed scientific publications. His research focuses on leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Blockchain, Digital Twin Technologies, Computer Vision, and Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) to develop innovative solutions for social welfare, smart cities, transportation systems, healthcare, education, and sustainable digital ecosystems.
