Dr. D. Venkata Subramanian is a distinguished academic leader, researcher, technology strategist, and industry expert with over 33 years of experience spanning higher education, research leadership, accreditation governance, and global technology operations. He currently serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Information Technology at Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College, Chennai, India. He holds a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, an M.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Northeastern University, USA, an MBA in Information Systems Management, a Ph.D., and Post-Doctoral Fellowships in advanced computing and AI-based knowledge management systems. Dr. Subramanian has held several prestigious academic leadership positions, including Professor and Dean of the School of Computing Sciences at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science and Head of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Saveetha University. He has played a significant role in institutional quality enhancement through NAAC, NBA, ABET, IQAC, NIRF, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and curriculum modernization initiatives. His contributions have strengthened research ecosystems, digital governance frameworks, industry-academia collaborations, and innovation-driven education. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Dr. Subramanian possesses over 18 years of senior industry leadership experience across multinational organizations in the United States and Asia-Pacific regions, including Applied Materials, IBM, State Street, Virtusa, and several technology consulting organizations. His expertise spans enterprise architecture, cloud computing, data governance, machine learning, deep learning, database systems, and digital transformation
