Dr. Sasmita Pani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Jhadeswar Engineering College, Balasore, Odisha, India. She previously held associate professor positions at Balasore College of Engineering & Technology and Gandhi Institute For Technology, Bhubaneswar. She earned her Ph.D. in Computing from the College of Engineering & Technology, Bhubaneswar (under TEQIP-II, full-time) under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) in 2019, an M.Tech. in Information Technology from BPUT in 2009, and a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from BPUT in 2005. Dr. Pani is a member of professional bodies including IEEE, the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and The Institution of Engineers (India). She has served as Head of the Department (CSE) and PIC in Examination at various institutions. She holds certifications in Android for Mobile App Development. She has published numerous papers in Scopus-indexed and Thomson Reuters-indexed journals, contributed book chapters, and filed patents, including one on Blockchain Technology for automotive control systems
