Dr. Haider Hadi Abbas is an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He received his B.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Baghdad in 1994, his M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Technology in 1997, and his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Baghdad in 2001. He has been a lecturer at various departments within the Middle Technical University and other institutions since 1997, including the Software Engineering and Information Technology Department, Computer Technology Engineering Department, and the University of Baghdad's College of Engineering. He is a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCNA 1-4 and IT) and an AWS Certified Educator. His research interests include coding theory, signal processing, image processing, artificial intelligence, and security in communication systems. He has published over 20 research papers in international journals and conferences and has received numerous awards and recognitions from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and university deans
Abstract Title : Advancing Robotics, Automation, Semiconductors, and Next-Generation Space and Automotive Technologies: Shaping the Intelligent and Connected FutureAbstract : The rapid convergence of robotics, intelligent automation, semiconductor innovation, and next-generation technologies is transforming industries and changing the face of human-machine interaction. Advances in artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous systems, and extremely high-performance semiconductor architectures are driving advances in space exploration, smart mobility, and advanced manufacturing technologies. This keynote will introduce us to the technological and technology-driven trends leading to the next wave of innovation and how robotics and automation (i.e., AI-driven decisionmaking), autonomous and collaborative systems, intelligent sensing, and AI-driven decisionmaking are evolving. The talk will also focus on semiconductor technology for edge computing, energy-efficient processing, and next-generation electronic systems in aerospace and automotive systems. In addition, the keynote will discuss how the new space technology (e.g., autonomous spacecraft, satellite platforms, and resilient electronic systems) is being used in terrestrial applications. In parallel, the automotive field, from electric and autonomous vehicles through smart transportation to connected mobility, is having a profound impact on opportunities for sustainable transport and intelligent transportation. The keynote aims to bring together these two areas of research and create an understanding of what is currently happening in these domains and how we can collaborate and build a future technology ecosystem of intelligent, autonomous, and sustainable transportation through these areas
