Abstract Title

Cloud-native financial system architecture As the financial sector undergoes digital transformation, there is an increasing demand for scalable, resilient, and secure systems. Modern financial systems are being developed using cloud-native architectural principles, which emphasize microservices, containerization, and scalable distributed components. This chapter examines the design and implementation of cloud-native architectures for financial systems, with a focus on scalability, fault tolerance, elasticity, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. The study discusses essential architectural elements such as API gateways, event-driven frameworks, and cloud-native data platforms that support real-time transaction processing and sophisticated analytical capabilities. It covers various security features such as encryption, identity management, zero-trust frameworks, and regulatory compliance for financials. The chapter analyzes challenges like legacy system integration, latency optimization and cost issues. Other emerging directions like serverless computing, AI-enabled financial services and blockchain integration within the cloud-native ecosystem. The discussion explores how cloud-native technology is changing financial systems and making it agile, intelligent and highly scalable in nature.
