A Governed Engineering Intelligence Hub: "Lakehouse" and "AI as new UI" Architecture for SCM platforms:

Modern code-review platforms generate valuable engineering data across repositories, pull requests, review comments, CI/CD pipelines, quality signals, and operational systems. This presentation describes how a lakehouse-backed Intelligence Hub can unify those data sources and power a secure, conversational chatbot for engineering teams. The proposed architecture combines governed data ingestion, metadata and lineage, repository-aware retrieval, and an AI chatbot that provides contextual answers without exposing sensitive code or bypassing established review controls. The session will focus on guardrails including role- and repository-based access, data classification, retrieval boundaries, prompt and response filtering, citations, audit logs, and human approval for high-impact actions. Attendees will learn how to use a cloud-native lakehouse and chatbot to improve developer discovery, code-review insight, and platform support while preserving security, compliance, and trust.
