Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kasturi Dewi Varathan is an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems, Universiti Malaya, holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Her research focuses on Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Sentiment Analysis, and Information Retrieval, with widely cited work in social media analytics. A recipient of the prestigious UK-Malaysia Leadership in Innovation Fellowship, she has secured competitive research grants including international funding and has served as a Visiting Scientist, Adjunct Professor, and Speaker across multiple international institutions.
