Dr. Sampoornam. W was born in India. She earned Bsc in nursing from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai, India, Msc in psychiatric nursing from the same university. She was awarded PhD in nursing from Saveetha University, Chennai, India. She earned Msc in Counseling & Psychotherapy from Tamil Nadu Open University. She was graduated Msc in psychology & MBA from Alagappa University. Currently she is Principal of Bhavani College of Nursing, Erode, India. She has 17 years of teaching experience for UG, PG & PhD nursing programmes. She has attended 570 conferences and workshops. She was also resource person in national & international conferences (USA, Germany, New Zealand). Hitherto she has guided 26 dissertations and 7 theses. Initiated and signed MOU between Bhavani College of Nursing and Lincoln University, Malaysia. Dr. Sampoornam is an Ambassador, Bentham Science in United Arab Emirates. 

She has presented distinctive scientific papers and beside organized various conferences and workshops in Malaysia, Dubai, China, Spain & Portugal. Published 130 scientific papers in national and international journals. She presides as an editor in manifold national and international journals. She is a recognized PhD Guide under The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. She is the member for 19 professional organizations. She earned three awards in the field of nursing and one honor from Tamil Nadu Counsellors and Psychotherapist Association & Best Researcher Award by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
