K. Raymond Da-boi is a Cultural Anthropology doctoral researcher at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with academic specialization in peace and conflict studies, humanitarian and refugee studies, and post-conflict reconstruction. His research focuses on peacebuilding, regional security, displacement, borderlands, conflict resolution, and the political economy of civil wars in West Africa, particularly within the Mano River Basin. He has extensive teaching, mediation, and consultancy experience with institutions including UNESCO, UNICEF, USAID, UNDP, and Cuttington University, and has contributed widely to scholarship on conflict, governance, regional integration, and peace education
