Dr. Cenmichon Khodang holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Kerala Agricultural University, Kerala, India. His research focuses on agricultural economics, rural development, livelihood vulnerability, non-timber forest products (NTFPs), agricultural marketing, climate change, and sustainable livelihoods among tribal communities. His doctoral research examined the livelihood vulnerability of tribal households in Kerala and Manipur dependent on medicinal NTFPs using advanced econometric and vulnerability assessment techniques. He has published several research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals and contributed book chapters on agricultural economics, agribusiness, climate change, and sustainable agriculture. He has also presented his research at numerous national and international conferences, receiving awards for Best Oral Presentation, Best Research Scholar, and Best Poster Presentation. Dr. Khodang has undergone specialized training in econometrics, data analysis, academic writing, artificial intelligence applications in research, and advanced social science research methodologies. He is proficient in statistical software including R, Python, STATA, SPSS, and MS Excel. His research interests include agricultural policy, livelihood vulnerability, agricultural marketing, climate resilience, and sustainable rural development, with a commitment to generating evidence-based solutions for improving the livelihoods of rural and tribal communities.
