Irangani Inoka Kodithuwakku is a self-made professional, strategist, and advocate based in Sri Lanka. She holds an MBA in Marketing from Wrexham Glyndwr University, UK, a Chartered Qualification in Human Resources Management from CIPM Sri Lanka, and a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Mental Health. She currently serves as Business Development Manager at Ceylon Eco Spices (Pvt) Ltd, where she previously managed a dual portfolio as Head of HR and Business Development Manager, breaking traditional barriers in the male-dominated agricultural export sector. Her research interests span marketing, governance, sustainability, and demographic studies, with a focus on Sri Lanka. She is a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment and governance, having presented research on democracy and governance at international conferences, and has served as a compere for initiatives hosted by the International Youth Alliance for Peace and the U.S. Embassy
Abstract Title : Examining the Impact of Good Governance on the Aging Population in Sri LankaAbstract : This research paper examines the impact of good governance on the aging population in Sri Lanka. The study was selected as one of the top three best research papers and published in the Empower Youth - International Youth Alliance for Peace Research Book (October 2023). It was also presented at the 9th International Conference on Future of Women 2026, held in Bali, Indonesia (February 2026). The research explores how governance structures and policies affect the well-being, social security, and quality of life of Sri Lanka's aging demographic.
