Sara AIT ALI is a Doctoral Candidate in Cultural Studies at Hassan II University, FLSHM, Morocco. She holds a Master's degree in Gender Studies with honors from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, and a Bachelor's degree in English Studies specializing in Cultural Studies from Mohammed V University, Rabat. She is currently an English Language Teacher at the Ministry of Education and at the American Language Center in Rabat. She is also a CELTA certified teacher (Pass B) and a Cambridge English Certified Teacher through the Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT). Her research interests include gender studies, rape culture, victim blaming, and cultural attitudes towards sexual violence in Morocco. She has published three indexed articles in the Al-Kindi Journal and has actively participated in international conferences including TESOL and the ALL-ALC Conference on education

Abstract Title : Rape Culture and Victim-Blaming in Morocco: Moroccans' Attitudes towards Female Victims of RapeAbstract : This article studies Moroccans' attitudes towards female victims of rape using a questionnaire, interviews and content analysis on social media. These methods are used to show how the victim's clothing, sexual history, and the victim-perpetrator relationship along with other factors tend to influence victim blaming in sexual crimes and contribute to the treatment of victims as guilty, responsible, and deserving of their fate
