Biography

Gopinath Guin is a PhD researcher at the S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata, specializing in theoretical high-energy physics and early-universe cosmology. His research interests include cosmology, gauge/gravity duality, black hole physics, holography, and related aspects of gravitational physics. He has published research articles on renormalization-group-improved cosmology, holographic entanglement entropy, holographic dark energy, and cosmological models. He holds an M.Sc. in Physics from Visva-Bharati University and a B.Sc. in Physics from Midnapore College. He is currently supported by a CSIR Junior Research Fellowship from the Government of India.

Abstract Title

 Validity of the cosmic no-hair conjecture with Born-Infeld electrodynamics.   In this study, we examined the validity of the cosmic no-hair conjecture within an inflationary framework coupled to nonlinear Born-Infeld electrodynamics. By assuming exponential forms for the potential and gauge kinetic function, we derived exact solutions describing anisotropic, power-law inflationary expansion. Our findings indicate that the presence of the gauge field can sustain a small degree of anisotropy in the universe after inflation. When considering Born-Infeld electrodynamics, we found that assuming a constant Born-Infeld parameter leads to inconsistencies; however, these issues are resolved by adopting a specific time dependence for the Born-Infeld parameter. Additionally, we constrained certain free parameters of the model based on physical considerations and presented the resulting permissible parameter space graphically.
